Since this issue is about towns in scenic and historic Alachua County.. we will forego 'Tips' and give you a list of places to stay. If you should decide to take the driving tour offered by the County's Historical Commission.. or..the self-guided tour along William Bartran Trail..or..plan your own tour, knowing the location of lodgings scattered through the county might be a convenience.
